Black Panther

Just bury me in the ocean with my ancestors that jumped from the ships, because they knew death was better than bondage.

- Erik Killmonger

Did Black Panther Live Up To Its Hype?

Before you read this just know I will be spoiling some parts of the movie! SO GO WATCH THE MOVIE!

Black Panther was a great movie by far one of the better Marvel movies. I think because of where we are and the technology that we now possess, definitely makes things a whole lot believable when we as the audience is viewing such a thing. You know Marvel fans have been asking for this movie to be made for a long time now, but I personally feel like we would have never had a movie done so well and put to together just in the standpoint when we're talking about character depth if it had been made any time before its time.

Impact of the Black Panther movie

Generating over $700 million in the first few days, that's a lot of money don't you think? The reason this movie is so important to people is that this is the first time we see a movie with an all-black cast and the depiction of the skin color was on point to represent what Africa was and is.

Is Killmonger the greatest villain in MCU? The answer to that is yes, well in my opinion. I say this because for the first time the villain has a point in his wrongdoings, that is why the message of this movie is so powerful.

The Message

For Black people, well I don't want to seclude things just to one group of people but all groups, to be honest, understand what could happen to the people of the world if we all moved as a unit. At the end of the movie, T'challa decided to open the resources of Wakanda to the rest of the world to fix what could have been prevented years ago.

Now for all my MCU fans hang tight because this is all but thrilling in connection to how the rest of the other Marvel movies are going to be played out. Twenty-two movies and twenty more are lined up so stay tuned for that.

First of all, I just want to give a lot of credit to MCU from the early days when creating these characters. If you look deeply into some of these superheroes characters notice that all of them have some type of theme that was equivalent to that time. (ex. X-Men was created during the civil rights era where the mutants represented the oppressed and the government represented the oppressor) This is real shit just pay attention. Like I said all credit goes to the content creators for staying consistent.

If you have watched this movie and you don't understand whats going on here is a video you can watch to further your understanding.

Now you don't need to watch any movies to know what Black Panther is about but to further your knowledge for my future MCU fans. Watch these Marvel movies in this order to understand everything in totality.
